Terms of Service
Effective April 13, 2026
1. What Kinoa Is
Kinoa is a discovery interface. We aggregate movie and TV show metadata from public APIs (including The Movie Database) and display embedded players provided by independent third-party streaming hosters.
Kinoa does not upload, host, store, or control any media files. When you press play, you interact directly with an external provider that operates under its own terms and legal obligations. We cannot guarantee that any stream is lawful, available in your region, or meets any quality standard.
By using Kinoa you accept these terms. If you disagree, stop using the service.
2. Using Kinoa
You must be at least 16 years old to use Kinoa. We offer optional accounts for features like the watchlist — browsing doesn't require one. If you create an account, keep your credentials secure.
When using Kinoa, you agree not to:
- Copy, record, redistribute, or commercially exploit content from third-party players.
- Bypass geographic restrictions, paywalls, or DRM imposed by hosters.
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers against the service.
- Interfere with the operation of Kinoa or any embedded player.
You are responsible for ensuring that accessing any stream is lawful in your jurisdiction.
3. Third-Party Content & Ads
The players embedded in Kinoa are operated by independent third-party hosters. They control their own catalogs, moderation, takedown policies, and advertisements. We have no ability to access, modify, or censor content or ads within their players.
Your relationship with any hoster exists independently from these terms. Hosters may remove or alter content without notice. We may disable specific embeds at any time in response to complaints or legal risk.
4. Copyright
Kinoa does not host, store, or serve any media files. All playback is delivered by independent third-party hosters that we do not control. Copyright complaints should be directed to the hoster serving the content.
If you want a link removed from Kinoa's index, you can reach us via our . Removing a link from Kinoa does not remove the content from its source.
5. Intellectual Property
Kinoa retains rights to its software, interface, and metadata compilations. Third-party trademarks, posters, and images belong to their respective owners and are displayed for identification purposes only.
6. Disclaimers & Liability
Kinoa is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee uptime, accuracy, or that third-party streams will function. To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claims in a twelve-month period is limited to $50.
You agree to indemnify Kinoa from claims arising from your use of the service or breach of these terms.
7. Changes & Termination
We may update these terms as the service or legal requirements evolve. Continued use after changes means you accept them. We may suspend or terminate access at any time for violations or if we discontinue the service.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Switzerland. If you are a consumer in the EU, you retain any mandatory protections provided by your country of residence. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
